Rabiya Mateo’s ex-boyfriend tries luck in PBB Season 10

Neil Salvacion, ex-boyfriend of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, is one of the aspiring housemates for this year’s Pinoy Big Brother.

For his virtual audition for the newest edition of the ABS-CBN reality show, Neil, 27, introduced himself as a COVID-19 frontliner who initially wanted to pursue his dreams abroad, but chose to serve in the country. 

“Sa araw-araw na ginawa ng Diyos, ang buhay ko po ay hospital, bahay. Minsan, masisilayan mo ang huling hininga ng mga pasyente. Ito at iba’t ibang hugot sa buhay ang aking maiaambag sa PBB Kumunity–kung paano ang buhay ng isang frontliner,” he shared.

Aside from his struggles as a medical frontliner, Neil, who hails from Iloilo, also opened up on his recent heartbreak.

“Nakakalungkot man na kailangang ma-isolate ng ilang buwan, mas nakakalungkot pala na maiwan ka ng taong minamahal mo dahil sa pangarap nitong korona,” said Neil.

To recall, Neil and Rabiya’s breakup drew controversy after the beauty queen was romantically linked to former PBB housemate Andre Brouillette when they were spotted hanging out together in the US. 

He added, “Ang coronavirus at korona sa patimpalak ay ilan lamang sa mga hamon sa aking buhay. It’s about time to share my story, how I conquered them, and how I will inspire other people. Bagong bahay, bagong buhay, bagong mga hamon sa buhay.”
