Raymond Gutierrez was “happy to be safe” after the car he was riding in figured in an accident in Los Angeles, California.
The TV host shared the “distressing” experience online in a series of Instagram stories, sharing a photo of the vehicle’s damaged front bumper.
“Still shaken up. My Uber driver got into an accident. Good thing I was wearing a seat belt during the impact. Just happy to be safe (because) it could’ve been a lot worse,” wrote Raymond.
He also posted a photo of a black car supposed to be the one they collided with, and hit a fire hydrant.
“This was the other car who turned from the wrong lane while we were green, making the impact strong. Stress,” said Raymond.
The 37-year-old then reassured his friends and followers that he’s safe after getting messages of concern following the incident, and left a safety reminder.
“I’m fine. My initial instinct earlier was just to continue on (with) my day but then I started getting a little bit dizzy so I decided to go home and rest,” shared Raymond.
He added, “I’m feeling much better now. It really wasn’t my driver’s fault so I kinda felt bad for him. I didn’t wanna add to his stress but life continues and make sure you wear your seat belt.
