Willie Revillame to spend Christmas in typhoon-hit Siargao

Willie Revillame won’t be home for Christmas to help super typhoon Odette victims and relief efforts in Siargao Island.

The Wowowin host, popularly known as Kuya Wil, recently flew to Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte to visit disaster-hit areas and communities.

Wala na akong Pasko,” said Willie in a speech on Wednesday, December 22.

The 60-year-old TV personality, who came with President Rodrigo Duterte and former presidential aide, Sen. Bong Go, donated nine million pesos to the island.

Willie added that he wanted to give back to the people from his own pocket and earnings due to the  many blessings he received, including the return of his noontime show Wowowin amid the pandemic.

Magbibigay ako ng pamasko sa inyong lahat,” said Willie as expressed how he felt for the people trying to recover from the disaster.
