The long wait is over. The Miss World 2021 coronation event is finally happening as it pushes through this Thursday, March 17, 8 a.m. (Manila time).
After being postponed last December 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Philippine bet Tracy Maureen Perez is all set to compete with 40 contestants all aiming for the Miss World 2021 crown.
The Cebuana beauty queen already had a great start, as she secured a spot in the Top 30 after winning the second round of the Head-To-Head challenge, and was named one of the Top 5 finalists for the Beauty With A Purpose challenge, where she highlighted the importance of empowering single parents.
In a Facebook post, she wrote: “I will say this again and again but thank you so much to every single one of you who took the time, effort, and heart to support me in this journey no matter what. For those who continue to love me, believe in me, and wish the best for me, you guys are rare gems! Pilipinas, this is it!”
The new Miss World will be crowned at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The coronation night will be streaming LIVE online and commercial-free via Upstream PH starting at 8 a.m.
